Goverlan has multiple items which can be shared with your coworkers. However, sharing must be configured before it can be used.
Create a network shared data folder which grants read/write access to you and your coworkers.
Open the Goverlan Options, select the Application Directories category and set Application Shared Data to the UNC path of the shared data folder created above.
You are now ready to share and view Goverlan objects on your machine. Simply ask your coworker to configure the same UNC path of the shared data folder in their Goverlan Options to join the sharing workgroup.
The following objects can be shared:
Custom Actions
Right-click on a Custom Action object to share or un-share it.
Custom Controls
Right-click on a Custom Control object to share or un-share it.
Software Packages
Select an item and click on the
button in the Software Package Manager.
Batch & Scripts
Select an item and click on the
button in the Batch & Scripts Manager.
Scope & Action Templates
Select a template and click on the
button in the Template Manager.
Note: Once you share an object, every one can modify it, remove it or un-share it. Unless you are the only one with Write Access to the Application Shared Data folder while your coworkers have only Read Access.
